We did it once and it was a hit. Now we are opening this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to the public again. You can be a part of the transformation of Warren Jeff’s old compound.
When we first acquired Warren Jeff’s old mansion it needed a lot of renovation. What once was a place that evoked bad memories for people in the Short Creek Community was being transformed and re-imagined into a place of hope and healing. Adopt-A-Room was one of the ways we were able to achieve that transformation. Today, because of people coming together to make it possible, the mansion is now a Residential Support Center.
We opened the 44-bedroom mansion to the community and invited the public to come adopt a room. Adopt-A-Room gave people a chance to come stay with us, re-imagine, renovate, and design a room. We had individuals, families, churches, and other groups come from all over the country to make this possible. The outcome was nothing short of amazing.

We know that not everyone will be able to commit to the renovation of an entire room. There are levels of commitment that you can make to be a part of this amazing project. You can come stay with us and work hands-on to renovate a room or you can become a financial contributor. Without your help this would not be possible. We have three main levels of commitment, but no gift is too big or too small. Your generosity and dedication help empower us to finish this project.
Of all the rooms in the 44-bedroom house we only have TWO LEFT that need a makeover. We have also acquired a second building on the property that once belonged to Warren’s brother that we hope will be renovated and transformed.
How Can You Get Involved?
Through Adopt-A-Room you get to put your hands to a blank tapestry and leave a lasting mark of hope and restoration. Together we can help transform buildings that carried a history of darkness and turn them into something new.
